I needed to replace my two rear tires.. turns out my tire measurements are rare (255/40/18), so they had to special order them. When I brought my car in, they noticed that there was a “bubble” in one of my front tires that I failed to see myself.. which means, I need to replace my front tires within a month. SIGH.
I didn’t have an appointment, so this was a “drive-in” service. I had lunch and hung out for a bit and was on my way. They were able to make time for me, so I really appreciated that.
I’ll be here again next month to replace the other tires.. maybe I’ll make an appointment this time.

I’ve been to them a few times now for tire problems and have always felt that they talked openly and honestly to me. Unlike other auto repair places, they don’t give you the run around. Plus, they are fast!

Not much room for improvement

Once again, Acalanes did a great job (new tires and four wheel alignment) … from scheduling the work to on-time completion. I would ordinarily shop this service for best pricing but Acalanes has been so responsive (and quick) to my fill my needs that I didn’t hesitate to go there first and did indeed receive complete satisfaction.

This is an excellent place to have your car serviced. The people their are very nice and honest. It’s a one stop shop for all your service needs from tires to all kinds of repairs. Their rates are very competitive and their service is very quick. They also service the Lafayette police cars which gives me confidence to take all my cars their. I wouldn’t go anywhere else!

Easy maintenance appointment
WEDNESDAY, 9 MAY 2012Made an appointment to get an oil change, tire rotation, brake pad check on my Prius. They took me on time, it took less than an hour, the price was good, the manager pleasant and professional. Whole experience was good.
